Noah

Noah is so entertaining. He is currently into deep sea diving. Or I should really say deep sea divers. Whatever Noah's current obsession, it is more likely with the people involved rather than what they are doing. He is only mildly interested in underwater life - fish, sharks, coral, etc. - what he wants to know about is deep sea divers and their equipment. What they say, what they do, what they wear, etc. When he develops an obsession, it really is an obsession. If you were at our house for any meal, Noah would rope you into telling a story about his peas (fish) and the carrots ( deep sea diver) swimming in the ocean( hummus) and the camera (pita bread). In the morning, we don't just get dressed, we 'put on deep sea diver gear'....socks are the flippers, the shirt is the wetsuit....you get the picture. Past obsessions have been baseball, ships, lion researchers, pirates, zoos, just to name a few. Once an obsession passes ( it may be days, it may be months) a new one takes is place, but the old ones still drop in to visit regularly. He makes our world so much... more ...than it has ever been.
He often snuggles in behind Lucas when he is playing, as seen in the picture. He has silly dialogues with Lucas and is always dancing some toy all over his body. Lucas never seems to mind, and Noah often has him in fits of bellylaughs.
We know we are sooooo lucky.
