Hot chocolate bar from the school fundraiser we had at our house, the Winter Scavenger Hunt. SO much fun - we are definitely doing it again next year! Ask me about it sometime...

Feb already!

One of my favorite nights of the year is the Luminary Loppet. One weekend a year is the Loppet festival - lots of XC ski races, skijoring( xc skiing with your dog pulling), mtn bike ice races, .....so much fun but the best event is the Saturday night when they surround Lake of the Isles with ice candles and have hot chocolate, fire dancers, ice sculptures, an ice forest.... an absolutely magical night. Sometime in your life you need to to here for that night. Consider this your open invitation.   Pictures of course don't do it justice. didn't miss my calling as a photographer.
