We were skiing yesterday and sitting next to Lucas at the end of the day, having our hot chocolate, it occurred to me what a great reflection of his stage in life his clothing was. His Under Armor turtleneck he recently inherited from his brother and his striped snowman shirt. A perfect reflection of our little guy's transition from little kid to kid. He is slowly shedding the cute and trading it in for the cool. Another good lesson for me in sitting back and noticing, appreciating, the change rather than trying to control it or getting sad about it. Sit back and enjoy the ride....
